Can I use valves and actuators without a lubricator?
All valves and actuators are assembled with a lubricating grease and can run without being fed from a lubricator.
If a lubricator has been fitted and passed lubricant down-stream, the assembly grease will be washed out, therefore it is essential the lubricator continues to pass lubricant to the valves and actuators.
Feeding an actuator with lubricated air could increase the life by 60%.
