Is compressed air controllable?

Compressed air pressure can be regulated (reduced down)  by a pressure regulator and the volume of air passing can be restricted with a flow regulator.

Air can be trapped by 5/3 APB all ports blocked valves and 2/2 normally closed valves; however, air is compressible and therefore an actuator may creep slightly until it settles.
