Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is good at being chemical-resistant. It’s ideal in manufacturing for detection and washdowns in harsh environments involving acids, alkalis and solvents. It’s also ideal for the fabrication and welding industries. Always check the chemical compatibility before you use it.
